I have always been skeptical about using a nutritionist. I had the close minded opinion that the only purpose for a nutritionist was to assist the obese population. Since I have always been a person of slim build, I did not feel that a nutritionist applied to me. I have always worked out, but as of recently, I have been training to obtain a higher level of fitness. Unfortunately I hit a plateau. Although I was changing up my workout routine, I was unable to see the results I wanted to obtain. Having exhausted all avenues, I decided to reach out to a nutritionist. I was recommended to Fit and Well Coaching by one of my peers. I was pleasantly surprised by the many different approaches on improving my fitness suggested by Erica Brown (founder of Fit and Well Coaching). We discussed my personal goals, charted my body fat percentage, increased my caloric intake, and figured out the foods that were impeding my muscle growth. The meal plans she suggested were realistic and something that I could actually follow with my busy lifestyle. I have seen more improvement in my workouts in the last three months than I have in the previous six (months). While I have not obtained all the goals I have strived for, I feel I am further along than I expected to be. Thank you Erica, for helping people achieve their dreams.

I am a 56 year old male who has struggled with weight fluctuation for most of my life. I pride myself on eating healthy and maintaining a rigorous year round exercise regime that includes cycling, weight training and private instructor training, However it wasn't until Erica showed me when and how to manage my protein, carbs, etc. that i began to see real results. I lost 20 pounds in two months in the dead of a miserable winter so that I am now ready for my cycling season. Luckily, I did not throw away any old jeans as I now fit into all of them from 5 years ago.
I am doing great so far. I have dropped 2 pant sizes already.Your plan is great and easy to follow.I have added 20 minutes of cardio to my 1 hour workout as well. Just went on a business trip and was able to do up the seat belt on the plane without the belt extender. I am walking better as well. A recent visit to my doctor showed everything is OK; he feels if I continue to lose weight the medications will go away. Thanks for your help.

For the first month of taking kettlebell classes (1-2 times a week) I noticed myself becoming stronger and slowly incorporating heavier weights in my workout; however, I knew that the "secret" to becoming leaner is to improve my diet. I started working with Erica Brown to assess my eating habits and she recommend a meal plan. After 6-7 weeks of strength training and Erica's nutrition coaching I lost about 10 lbs of body fat and gained roughly 5 lbs of muscle!
